Iwacu Health was born out of a shared vision to address the challenges and gaps in healthcare delivery and access, particularly in Rwanda and the broader region. Recognizing the need for comprehensive, patient-centered solutions, our co-founders embarked on a mission to create a platform that would empower individuals, communities, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health and well-being.

Iwacu health was founded by Dr. Muhirwa Alphonse,Holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Rwanda. Completed his internship at Nemba District Hospital. Volunteered in the Medical Student Association of Rwanda for five years during medical school. He is a trainee of IHUZO digital business in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board.
